Periodically, all pools need to be shocked or superchlorinated to remove excess wastes that cause red eyes, chlorine odors, cloudy water and dry skin. SUN has various products to oxidize these chloramines to meet virtually every consumer need. Pools should be shocked or superchlorinated at least every two weeks under normal swimmer load conditions. Under heavy swimmer load, or in intense heat, pool should be shocked or super chlorinated weekly. BOOSTER: Non-calcium based dichlor superchlorination product is ideal in high calcium area. Add directly to pool or predissolve. Contains stabilizer or cyanuric acid (conditioner) for use as opening product or shock treatment. SUN-BRITE®: Granular potassium peroxymonopersulfate non-chlorine shock oxidizes all pool wastes and turns chloramines into active chlorine. Since product does not raise chlorine level, swimmers can use pool within 30 minutes of treatment. Dosage: 1 lb. per 10,000 gals. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
SUPER SUN-BRITE®: Non-chlorine proprietary shock and water clarifier that oxidizes pool wastes. Turns chloramines into active chlorine, reducing chlorine odors and preventing red eyes and dry skin.
